Gamma Iota Chapter of Sigma Nu


The Gamma Iota chapter of Sigma Nu was founded at the University of Kentucky in 1902. We have 81 brothers in our chapter. We have an average chapter GPA of 2.95 and ranked 11 out of 21 Fraternities at the University of Kentucky. We have many social events and philanthropy events that help our community. Our intramural sports teams are among the top on campus. We participate in sports including: Basketball, Wiffle Ball, Inner Tube Water Polo, Flag Football, Ping Pong, and others.
Social Events/Philanthropy Events:
Sigma Spike- Sigma nu/ Sigma Kappa annual mud volleyball philanthropy event
Dance Blue- 24 hour dance marathon benefitting the Golden Matrix Fund which provides support to children who suffer from childhood cancer and their families
Greek Sing- SAE/Chi Omega annual all greek talent show benefiting Make A Wish Foundation
Toys For Tots- Marine Corps annual campaign to collect toys for less fortunate children
